Recorded 1953 (Staple Singers) and 1954 (Caravans). On the back cover the Caravans' tracks appear as the A side and the Staples Singers' tracks appear as the B side. On the disc the opposite is true. Disc has later red GOSPEL labels with silver print. "RVG" stamped into the dead wax. Misprint: Both A and B sides of the disc are credited to the Staple Singers. B side contains songs by the Caravans.
