Orchestral Suite No.3 & others
Recorded: 1977 (1-6), October 1979 (7-12), March 1996 (13-17), June 1994 (18). No recording locations listed. "Kantata No. 147" as mentioned regarding Track 18 is the composition "Herz Und Mund Und Tat Und Leben", BWV.147. An alternate version of Track 14 (a different mix, edit, or compilation of takes) was used in the theatrical feature "The End Of Evangelion", released in 1997 and later re-branded as part of the theatrical presentation "Revival Of Evangelion" released in 1998. Later in the film, a performance of the Bach composition "Jesu, Joy Of Man's Dreaming" is also used, in the same arrangement by Dame Myra Hess, but this is not the same recording or the same pianist as Track 18 on this release. That version is included on the soundtrack album "The End Of Evangelion" (KICA 370) and is performed by Jan Panenka. No production credits are provided except that Tracks 13-18 were recorded by King Records for the occasion.
