Bobby Melody sang with the Devine Brothers and recorded the original cut of this tune for Lee Perry as the Devine Brothers 'Warrior' released on Upsetter ([m853480]). This updated version was also released as 'Tribal Man' on 7" on Hi-Rock label with Brigadier Jerry on the flip side. The 12" release is the only issue with the dub version.
